Really captures that N64 feel to it. The delay/reverb synth that's panning around the mix seems a little bit out of place, if only because I'm so used to not hearing it in a more orchestral piece. Stellar job with the rest of the instrumentation though man!

MiguelVolkov responds:

Yep. I know sometimes it is hard to hear synth sounds with an orchestral arrangement, but that's just what I'm trying to do... All of my experiments involves both, the electro and the orchestral (or acoustic in some cases)... I'm just trying to find how to mix both kind of instruments in an efficient manner.
Thank you so much for your review... Everything I read here is useful.

Pretty good, dude! Those crunching and plates breaking FX really put on a gritty intro to the thing. I don't know what to think about that rising bass being all the way on the sides. I think it would probably be better if you just stuck it in the middle and did some EQ work with the kick. It kind of made the drop a little empty too. Sounds like you have a pretty good general idea of song structure, though. A lot of people struggle with stringing one section of a track to the next, and I thought you actually covered that area pretty well. Tally ho!

Ninjic responds:

I'll definitly work on that ! thx for the analysis man !

Sick! That rhythm guitar especially is chunky as hell. I love it. Whoever has this playing behind him will definitely have everyone's attention.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thank you very much. I'm super glad to be a part of it! Glad you dig it!\m/

Okay, so I sense you're a little new to this, and if you don't really take this stuff seriously, then feel free to ignore it!

First thing I noticed is that there is a little clicking some of the piano notes. It can be a little tricky in removing this, but what usually works best is EQing out some of the frequencies. It might also help to mess with the attack, decay, and release inside the vst.

Second, and this is an even more subjective criticism, but I would strongly recommend against using FL Studio vocal samples. They've been used for years to the point that they sound incredibly cheesy to anyone who is familiar with the program. Nothing wrong with cheesiness sometimes, but it just feels really tacky. I'm assuming you also used FL drum samples. There's lots of free samples out there that are a lot less overused, you know!

I liked that grindy wobble bass, but it was so disproportionally loud compared to the other instruments that I couldn't really enjoy it for long. If you notice that an instrument doesn't sound clear in a certain part of a tune, it usually means that something is too loud! Again, EQ can help fix this, but it's also a good idea to make sure that one instrument isn't so loud that you can't hear the other instruments playing!

Those are just a few pieces of advice from me to you. Keep working on it, and best of luck man!

Nice one, man! Thought you were actually going to do a Foo Fighters cover, but this is great! You have a nice voice. I do think that the backing vocals were a little rough, but that's the only fault I have with this tune. Keep on!

One of the chiller dance tracks I've heard today. I love the composition, but I think some of the instruments fall a little flat, even considering this isn't meant to be as in your face as other dance genres. Those horns especially are killing me.

Cool little jam! Really loving the tone of that guitar. When are you going to slap some vocals on it?

DFerociousbeast responds:

Haha thanks! And my brother wanted to do some vocals over it under a band he wants to start with me

Woah! Yeah!
